Go Slow to Learn Fast - Sandwich, Cape Cod, Massachusetts
Nick began playing golf at the age of 10 and quickly grew to love the sport and all it offers. After 10+ years of caddying at the Ridge Club in Sandwich, MA, four years playing in high school at Tabor Academy, and two years playing collegially at Hartwick College, he realized that he wanted to turn this passion of his into a career. In 2002 there were two things that he knew, he wanted to travel and teach golf, so he began to work for Club Med, an international resort corporation that specializes in sporting activities in remote locations around the world.
8 years and 16 countries later, Nick had the pleasure of teaching in Morocco, Australia, Japan, Indonesia, Turks and Caicos, France, and of course the US. Fluent in English and French, he is able to conduct lessons and clinics in both languages. In 2010 Nick moved to Orlando, Florida to follow through with his apprenticeship with the PGA of America. In Orlando he worked at the prestigious Grand Cypress Golf Club and Academy of Golf where he spent three years shadowing many of the game’s greatest teachers and players including Ted Tryba, Fred Griffen, Mike Bender, and Dr. Bob Rotella.
Finally it was time to come back home to Cape Cod where Nick grew up. He worked two years in the private sector at Cape Cod National and Oyster Harbors before finally settling in on teaching again full-time with Dave Donnellan and The First Tee program. After bringing the PGA brand back to Twin Brooks Golf Course in Hyannis, Nick has joined Jane Frost and her team and is excited for the opportunities and adventures to come. Now with residency at both facilities, PGA-certified Teaching Professional Nick Wiseman coordinates both junior and adult programs at the Jane Frost Golf Performance Center and Twin Brooks golf course full-time and year-round.
“I hope to see you all on the course and lesson tee! Let’s learn, play, and enjoy this wonderful sport of ours and all it has to offer.” – Nick Wiseman
